Composite is defined as two or more engineered constituent materials with different physical or chemical properties, which remain separate and distinct, are combined to make a finished structure. The two types of materials making up Composite materials are referred to as “matrix” and “reinforcement”. At least one portion of each type is required to make a finished structure.
